COVID-19 Statement
Like yourself, we are extremely concerned about the global outbreak of the Corona virus and wanted to take this opportunity to share some thoughts from our Customers and other members of the club industry.
There are several actionable items that we can all do to help contain the outbreak. As a member of the Club Industry, we stand with you to protect your members, guests, board and staff in any way possible. Reducing the spread of the virus is an important actionable objective. Here are the major process recommendations thus far. If you have others, please feel free to send them and we will pass them on.
- Write, teach, circulate and document a containment plan. This plan should be BOD approved and comprehensively address your ordering, receiving, stocking, sanitation, disinfecting schedule, sick (HR), and reporting processes. It is critical to document the training for every employee.
- Contain your supply chain: Only buy from the most reputable suppliers possible. If a driver appears ill, sneezing, coughing etc., reject the delivery. Do not allow any symptomatic person near your receiving and stocking areas.
- Public gathering policy: A club is a place designed for public gatherings, but it does not have to be a dangerous place. You need to write, teach, circulate and document a public gathering policy/process plan for all public gatherings that includes sanitation, additional food covering and protection. It must cover how to address members and guests that are exhibiting symptoms, and cancellations.
Working together we may be able to slow the spread and protect all of our stakeholders. We have taken internal measures at CedarCreek to ensure that our team all works together to prevent the spread of the virus.
We stand with the Club Industry and the World to support each other as we face this challenge.
